Salary and Benefits
Salary range is $115,000 to $130,000 commensurate with experience. NMH offers a generous benefits package as well,
including tuition remission and on-campus housing.

The Opportunity
Northfield Mount Hermon School seeks a dynamic, student-centered Athletic
Director to lead a highly competitive interscholastic athletics program
encompassing 67 interscholastic and 19 varsity teams. The Athletic Director
will serve on the school’s leadership team and report to the Head of School
and the Associate Head of School.
Grounded in a strong commitment to student health, wellness, and balance,
the Athletic Director will provide strategic vision and day-to-day leadership
for all aspects of athletics. The director will lead a program that promotes
physical well-being and competitive integrity while aligning fully with the
school’s educational mission, values, and commitment to developing citizens
and scholars.
The Athletic Director is a visible campus leader who collaborates closely with
faculty colleagues, academic departments, residential life, health and
wellness, admissions, advancement, and parent communities. This role is
ideal for an experienced educator-coach-administrator who understands the
rhythms of boarding school life and is energized by mentoring adolescents.
