Privacy Policy
Effective September 1, 2024
AISNE respects your privacy and is committed to safeguarding it. The following policy addresses how we collect and use your data, as well as the options available to you for data usage.
Collection of Information
The AISNE website does not require a log in to use its features. Certain content is restricted to participants in AISNE’s events. To access these pages, participants must register for the corresponding event. These registrations are hosted by third-party event management platforms (currently Eventbrite and WebEx) where a user is required to give contact information, such as name, email address, school or organization, and job title. This information is used to contact the user about the resources and services on our site in which they are entitled as part of their registration. It is optional for registrants to provide additional information, such as dietary needs and other information that allows AISNE to provide a personalized event experience.
AISNE utilizes website analytics that collects internet network and mobile activity, including, but not limited to, the date and time of your visit to this website; web pages visited; links clicked on the website; browser ID; browser type; device ID; geolocation, operating system; form information downloaded; domain name from which our site was accessed; search history; and cookies.
Usage of Information
In addition to the aforementioned personalization and content access functions, AISNE may use submitted information to communicate with you about AISNE’s products, events, and services that may be relevant to you and your job duties while working in an independent school. This information may include, but is not necessarily limited to name, email address, job title/function, and place of employment. This data may be submitted to AISNE via our website’s email signup form, event registration form, or by virtue of your employing institution’s membership with, or sponsorship of, AISNE. You may opt-out of these communications using the “Unsubscribe” feature in our customer relationship management platform (CRM), currently HubSpot.
AISNE may share your personal information with third parties, including with sponsors, Community Supporters, marketing vendors, data analytics vendors, or if required to do so by law or government agency, for the purpose of defending or prosecuting legal claims, or with service providers/vendors that process, collect, or store this information for the benefit of AISNE and that are restricted from using or disclosing the information outside the scope of the services they provide to AISNE.
AISNE uses cookies to collect data on pages visited, time spent on site, site search queries, and pathways of pages visited during your web browsing session on aisne.org. AISNE uses Google Analytics to assess this information.
AISNE may use cookies, and the data collected via cookies, to provide interest-based and targeted advertising, to improve user experience on our website, to understand the demographics of our website visitors, and to debug, identify, and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality of the website.
Storage of Information
AISNE houses data collected through aisne.org and Eventbrite.com in a customer relationship management platform (CRM), currently HubSpot.
AISNE does not collect or store payment information, such as credit card numbers and expiration dates, and/or banking and routing information from ACH wire transfer payments. AISNE’s third-party merchant service providers collect this information for the purpose of processing payments; the information is not stored.

We do not target, market to, or offer our products or services to consumers outside of the United States and Canada. You agree not to submit your personally identifiable information through the website if you reside outside the United States. [If you reside in the European Economic Area, European Union, Great Britain, or Switzerland, submitted personally identifiable information to AISNE, and want to request a copy of, correct, delete, or limit the ways AISNE uses the information, send an email to info@aise.org indicating your request.
