At The Mountain School at Winhall, our purpose is to establish an educational foundation of curiosity, confidence, and competence while practicing kindness to oneself, the community, and nature.

The Mountain School at Winhall, established in 1998, is an accredited Kindergarten through Sixth-Grade independent school that prepares students for success academically, socially, and emotionally. It offers a rigorous curriculum, diverse experiences that leverage Vermont’s outdoors, a cell phone-free community, and a personalized approach for each student’s pathway of development.
