The history of Archbishop Williams High School is steeped in tradition and honor. Named after the Most Reverend John Joseph Williams, the fourth Bishop and first Archbishop of Boston who is credited with establishing the parochial school system in Boston, the school exemplifies his vision of a robust Catholic education system. AWHS offers a rigorous six-year academic program with a curriculum designed to challenge and inspire students at all levels. Beyond academics, the school boasts a vibrant athletic tradition, with numerous league, regional, and state championships.
