Summer Teaching Position
The Wolf School, East Providence, RI
July 6 – August 6, 2026
Monday through Thursday only
Full-Time (26.5 hours) and Part-Time (17 hours) available
The Wolf School, an innovative independent lower and middle school for children with multiple learning
challenges, is currently recruiting a classroom teacher for its Summer Program.
The Wolf School, a small independent day school in East Providence, Rhode Island, was founded in 1999 to
provide a unique educational environment for children with multiple learning differences in grades K-8. The
goal was to create a school that would provide children with the opportunity to reach their full academic and
social potential. The founding members of the Board, including educators, clinical specialists, and a family,
created a model that emphasizes the development of core grade-level skills taught through a therapeutically
guided curriculum. As a result, our students make significant gains academically and socially.
Our summer program, Camp Confidence, blends our innovative Immersion Model© classroom with the spirit
of a traditional summer camp, creating an engaging, supportive, and enriching experience for our students.
Each week features a new theme that drives both academics and enrichment activities. Mornings focus on
small-group academic instruction aligned with students’ IEP or Learning Plan goals, while afternoons are filled
with experiential enrichments.
