High School Counselor (Academic/Guidance)

Burr and Burton Academy seeks a full-time school counselor, beginning August 2026. Candidates must be knowledgeable about and have experience guiding high school students in developing academic, career, and personal goals, as well as post-high school plans. Primary responsibilities include advising students, designing programs, collaborating with faculty and staff, supporting families, building relationships with colleges and universities, and overseeing college applications. Ideal candidates have a degree in school counseling or a related field, are collaborative team players, enjoy working with teenagers, and possess strong organizational, technological, problem-solving, and communication skills.
