Ursuline Academy seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Head Swimming & Diving Coach to lead its program. The Head Coach is responsible for planning and conducting practices, coaching meets, supporting student-athlete development, and fostering a positive team culture consistent with Ursuline’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Coach all scheduled meets and oversee meet-day preparation and team logistics.
• Teach proper swimming and diving techniques, conditioning, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, school administrators, and athletics staff.
• Ensure compliance with Ursuline Academy, league, MIAA, and applicable safety requirements.
• Supervise assistant coaches and coordinate team responsibilities, as applicable.
• Maintain required certifications and complete all mandated background checks and training.

Qualifications

• Prior competitive swimming, diving, or coaching experience required; head coaching experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to student-athlete safety, development, and well-being.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and applicable coaching certifications, or the ability to obtain them before the season begins.
• Availability for afternoon and evening practices, meets, and postseason competition.
• Successful completion of all required background checks.

Compensation: $3,800 – 5,800 stipend
