Title – Director of Information Technology

Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s Degree  

*3 years of proven experience in Information Technology

Reports to: Assistant Head of School

Job Goal: To provide curricular support relating to technology and assist with the integration of innovative technologies to support, enhance, and extend learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead technology initiatives that support teaching and learning school-wide
  • Collaborate with academic departments/discipline-specific coordinators regarding specific needs and growth opportunities.
  • Develop, coordinate, and teach workshops and classes on instructional applications of various technologies for faculty and students.
  • Oversee technology licensing, and warrantees
  • Communicate information about training services and research, including preparing memos and making presentations, accompanied by handouts and/or training manuals.
  • Provide technical curriculum assistance about device usage, software applications, and the general instructional use of technology in the classroom.
  • Establish systems for faculty to access, preview or receive training in hardware usage and software applications.
  • Support & troubleshoot issues relating to hardware & software.
  • Manage support@thewoodwardschool.org to; execute & document recommendations & next steps for solutions.
  • Promote the effort to stay current with technological knowledge and skills.
  • Network with local, regional, and national technology associations.
  • Support Admissions Team with Admissions Software / Ravenna.
  • Support Registrar and Assistant Head of School with Student Information / Grading Software / 360.
  • Oversee campus technology infrastructure
  • Maintain an emergency technology plan containing username and passwords, vendors names and contact info and emergency tech plan information with Administration
