Dear colleagues,

The City School and Phillips Academy Andover are pleased to announce that registration is now live for our Fall 2024 Introductory Social Justice Leadership Institute! The overnight retreat will take place on Saturday October 19th  – Sunday October 20, 2024 at Phillips Academy Andover in Andover, MA.

This program is an opportunity for 9th – 12th grade student leaders at top New England independent schools to build community with like-minded students who share their passion for racial and social justice. SJLI offers students space to explore race, class, gender, sexual orientation, power and privilege beyond the classroom, and students walk away with expanded political analysis, personal leadership skills and community transformation tools. 

This interactive two-day overnight retreat brings together ~60 high school student leaders from on average 8-10 independent schools across New England. Our experienced staff team of organizers and facilitators supports this group to connect, challenge themselves and each other, build stronger relationships and take action together.

Registration is live with discounted Early Bird registration ($475.00/student) through September 16th, 2024 and final registration due by October 10th, 2025 ($525.00/student). Reach out if you have any questions; we look forward to seeing you this fall!
