Come hear an overview of current and upcoming laws governing your school’s efforts to provide equitable pay to your staff, no matter their role. Review federal and state pay equity laws. This will include information about Massachusetts’ upcoming pay transparency law implementation, and similar laws in other states. We’ll talk about best practices for developing salary ranges and how to account for wide-ranging experience levels in your applicant pool. You’ll learn strategies for conducting a pay equity audit and how to identify unlawful pay disparities based on legal requirements. Take away strategies for correcting pay disparities consistent with budgetary constrains and other important considerations.
