Lower School: The Power of Play and Public Speaking
on-site
Vincent Family Reading & Learning Center
20 Newton Street, Brookline, MA
At Dexter Southfield, some of the most important learning happens when students are encouraged to explore, create, and find their voice. Join our faculty to discover how play and public speaking work together to develop confidence, communication skills, creativity, and resilience in our youngest learners. From imaginative classroom experiences to our cherished public speaking tradition, students are challenged to take risks, embrace mistakes, and grow through practice in a supportive environment. Learn how we help children develop the courage to share their ideas, connect with others, and become confident communicators both inside and outside the classroom.
