How Schools Confidently Navigate Facilities Expansion
This session is free for AISNE member schools. $100/pp for non-members.
The myriad considerations involved in facilities expansion require the time and talent of your team of business officers, senior staff, trustees, and external partners. With so much to consider, schools are often learning along the way—from strategic plans to capital campaigns, from identifying financing to deftly managing budgets.
In this session, our community supporters at AAFCPAs and Rockland Trust Bank will give an overview to some of the financial considerations you are likely to encounter when engaging in a major facilities project. These include the use of bonds, the current interest rate landscape and how fluctuations can significantly impact your budgets, securing bridge financing, making use of available tax credits, and more.
You will then hear real-world examples of how a variety of independent schools tackled challenges and made the most of opportunities that arose during their recent campus projects. In conversation with each other and you, our panel of school leaders will shine a light on the nuts and bolts of bringing projects to life.
This virtual session is intended for Heads, Assistant Heads, CFO & COOs, Advancement leads, and anyone who is invested in the financial aspects of major facilities projects.
Our panel discussion features:
