Essential Foundations of Collaborative Problem Solving, Level 1- ONLINE

The Collaborative Problem Solving® model was developed at the Think:Kids center, part of the Dept of Psychiatry at MGH and is an evidence-based approached to managing challenging behavior rooted in the neurosciences and based on a philosophy of empathy and equity. The Essential Foundations of Collaborative Problem Solving is a comprehensive introduction to the model, giving participants tools and strategies to use immediately in the classroom, lunch room, athletic fields and dorms, etc.
This training is also part of a larger trajectory toward certification in the model, and a number of independent schools are already implementing the philosophy and practices of CPS and seeing a shift in their culture of discipline and relational trust with students.
One of the co-leads, who is a Certified Trainer in the CPS model, is an administrator at the Fenn School, while the other is a LSW and Parent Coach in NJ.
Please note, this training is limited to educational professionals in MA.
