2025 Academic Leadership Symposium
The Artisan Hotel at Tuscan Village
17 Via Toscana, Salem, NH
Join fellow academic leaders for two days of thought-provoking programming, intentional connection, and energizing reflection.
The AISNE Academic Leadership Symposium is designed specifically for those who lead from the middle: department chairs, division heads, and deans of academics, curriculum, faculty, and teaching and learning. These roles require a unique blend of instructional vision, leadership presence, managerial skill, and relational strength—and this gathering is crafted with all of that in mind.
This event is designed as a symposium: a gathering or meeting of people with shared roles and goals, focused on important topics, collaboration, and learning. Throughout this experience, you will:
- Explore the real-world complexities of academic leadership in independent schools
- Reflect on your personal leadership style and goals
- Strengthen your feedback and communication skills
- Connect with peers who share your role, challenges, and aspirations
- Develop a practical action plan to bring new insights back to your school
The symposium includes:
Structured sessions led by expert facilitators Jennifer Bryan and Hassan Wilson
Role-based discussions and collaborative problem-solving
Interactive workshops on feedback, time management, and cross-functional leadership
Optional evening networking for deeper connection and community building
Ongoing connection points, including two virtual sessions and a meetup at the AISNE DEIB Conference
This is your space to refocus, reimagine, and reconnect—with your peers, your purpose, and your potential.
