Facilities Breakfast: “From Design to Day-to-Day” Our day will begin with a delicious breakfast from FLIK Independent School Dining. This will be an informal time to meet facilities staff and CFOs and COOs. We will then welcome OLSON LEWIS + Architects for a discussion about how facilities teams support and ultimately take ownership of major campus build projects.

We will use our host school, Tenacre Country Day, as a case study of how strong partnerships across the Head’s Office, Business Office, and Facilities team can make expansion and renovation projects move smoothly.

Following the presentation, we will engage in a peer-led discussion of the hot topics and critical issues in facility management. Bring a topic or question to pose to the group for discussion. By harnessing the collective knowledge of your peers, you’ll leave with new ideas and resources to bring back to your school.

Thank you to our sponsors at Compass Facility Services, Campus Services Group, C.E. Floyd, and OLSON LEWIS + Architects for making this gathering possible.

Technology Lunch: “Human-Centered Campus Security Design” Our afternoon session begins with lunch and an informal time for getting to know your peers. We will then welcome Dave Corbin and Bonnie Michelman of Dynamic Security Strategies for a discussion of security technologies that can support your school. We will discuss finding budget-friendly solutions that align with your on-site infrastructure and in-house expertise, creating human-centered security technology policies and best practices for identifying vulnerabilities and threats to your campus.

We will end with a peer-led discussion around technology topics. Whether you want to discuss cyber security, network administration, teaching and learning projects, campus security, or vendor selection, bring a topic or question to pose to the group for discussion. By harnessing the collective knowledge of your peers, you’ll leave with new ideas and resources to bring back to your school.

Thank you to our sponsors at Dynamic Security Strategies and SecureWon for making this gathering possible.
