Andover School of Montessori is seeking a qualified and collaborative part-time Upper Elementary Lead Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has prior teaching experience, preferably within a Montessori environment. Montessori Upper Elementary certification (ages 9–12) is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and materials, strong classroom management and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative teaching team. Strong written communication skills and a passion for creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom community are essential.

We are seeking an educator who is enthusiastic about fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning through hands-on, student-centered instruction. The successful candidate will value collaboration, maintain strong communication with colleagues and families, and support the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child.
