Prek – Grade 3 Music Teacher (Part Time)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated music teacher, who will work with PreKindergarten through third grade classes. The successful candidate will create a joyful learning environment that fosters a love for music, encourages creativity, and supports the holistic development of young learners.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Plan and teach two sections each for PreKindergarten through second grade
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate curriculum and plan for assemblies
- Co-teach two sections of third grade with the Director of Visual and Performing Arts
- Writing bi-annual student reports and conference notes
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to community, equity, and inclusion in instructional practice and pedagogical approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and impeccable follow-through
- Experience with implementing developmentally appropriate music activities to elementary students
