Summer at Tower is seeking counselors that are kind, reliable, energetic, creative thinkers, with a good sense of humor and good verbal communication skills. Successful candidates possess a great work ethic, are devoted to making camp a joyful experience for every child, and can connect and engage with others. Program Details

• Dates: June 22-August 21, 2026
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a.m.-3:00pm

Qualifications

• • Preferred minimum of 16 years of age

• Must be available for 2-day orientation June 13 and 14

• Must pass a CORI/SORI background check
• Upon hire, successful completion of First Aid and CPR certification (can be done at orientation)
• Prior experience working with children, a plus
• This role requires the ability to participate in and lead indoor and outdoor camp activities, which may involve walking on uneven terrain, standing for extended periods, and engaging in active play.

Responsibilities

• Follow guidance from the Camp Director to plan, engage, and lead campers in group activities
• Ensure the safety of campers; remain aware and attentive at all times
• Create a positive environment for campers and staff
• Participate in developing and implementing high-quality educational and recreational opportunities and enjoyable experiences for campers each day
• Positively represent the camp when interacting with parents and community members
• Maintain a high standard of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff
