Summer at Tower is seeking a certified Lifeguard/Swim Instructor to join our team for the 2026 summer season! If you love working with children and have a passion for water safety, we encourage you to apply. Our lifeguards are kind, reliable, energetic, creative thinkers, with a good sense of humor and good verbal communication skills. Successful candidates possess a great work ethic, are devoted to making swimming a joyful experience for every child, and can connect and engage with others. Program Details

• Dates: June 22-August 21, 2026
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a.m.-3:00pm

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
• Must be available for 2-day orientation June 13 & June 14
• Must pass a CORI/SORI background check
• Upon hire, must possess a current Lifeguard Certification CPR/1st Aid is available at orientation
• Prior experience working with children, and/or previous lifeguard role or swim instructor a plus
• Ability to create a safe and encouraging atmosphere for young swimmers.

Responsibilities

• Follow guidance from the Aquatic Director to plan, engage, and lead campers in group activities
• Teach swim lessons to campers ages 2.9 years to 13 yr old
• Ensure the safety of all swimmers by actively lifeguarding
• Maintain a fun, positive and safe learning environment
• Positively represent the camp when interacting with parents and community members
• Maintain a high standard of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff
