Solstice Project Summer Conference

on-site

Vermont Academy
10 Long Walk, Saxtons River, Vermont

The Solstice Project is igniting a powerful movement—bringing schools together to lead the transition to a thriving, post–fossil fuel future. Through climate leadership education, clean electrification, and innovative financing, we empower educational institutions to become catalysts for real change. What began at the Tidelines Institute on the summer solstice of 2025 has grown into a bold national vision: a network of schools working collaboratively to build abundant, joyful, and just communities powered by renewable energy. At the heart of this work is a simple truth—students deserve not just to understand the climate crisis, but to see themselves as leaders in solving it.

Join us at the 2026 Summer Solstice Conference and be part of this transformative journey. This immersive experience will leave you inspired, supported, and equipped with a clear, actionable plan for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond. Hear from renowned voices like Bill McKibben, Peter Shumlin, Ethan Tapper, and founder Zach Brown. Engage in hands-on workshops, connect with visionary educators, and explore field sites where innovative land and energy practices are already making an impact. Together, we can turn possibility into progress—and shape a future worth inheriting.
