High School Visual Arts Teacher

Burr and Burton Academy seeks a motivated, enthusiastic, collaborative visual arts teacher, beginning August 2026. The full-time position involves teaching studio art, primarily 2D, with a concentration in drawing and painting. There are opportunities to teach using a variety of media, based on the candidate’s talents and interests. Preferred candidates have a strong background in both 2D and 3D art making, experience teaching high school students, a degree in the visual arts and/or design, and the ability to develop and deliver a rich and meaningful, integrated curriculum. Candidates must be comfortable teaching students of all levels/abilities and employing a framework of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
