We are excited to invite your students to Milton Academy’s second Trans Excellence Expo.

The Trans Excellence Expo was established by Rio Pearlstein, a member of Milton’s Class of 2024, as his Senior Project. It is an event for allies and members of the trans and non-binary community to amplify the success of trans individuals, learn about transgender and non-binary identities and allyship, access community resources and build networks, and connect with LGBTQ+ owned businesses from the Greater Boston area.

The Expo will include an opening ceremony, affinity based workshops for trans and non-binary students, workshops for allies, a keynote lunch, and a resources/vendor fair. Workshop presenters include a collection of trans and non-binary professionals as well as healthcare experts, government officials, scholars & researchers, and community advocates.

Lunch will be provided for all attendees. Milton Academy requires a minimum of one chaperone per ten students and the cost of registration for ISL/AISNE partner schools is $15 per participant.  Workshop sign-up e-forms will be sent to all registered participants upon registration and workshop registration will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
