Position Summary
Bancroft School is currently seeking Independent Contract Orton-Gillingham certified and trained tutors for our Hope Graham Program. Building upon Bancroft’s commitment to nurture, respect, and educate diverse learners, the Hope Graham Program at Bancroft School is designed for students with diagnosed language-based learning differences in grades 2-8.
Orton-Gillingham tutors are contracted to provide direct tutoring services, as independent contractors, to students during regular school hours. The primary function of an HGP Orton-Gillingham Tutor is to work directly with students. Some additional responsibilities are expected including preparation for services, planning lessons, and reporting on student progress. Hours are flexible and are arranged based on agreement between the Program Director and the Contracted Tutor. Candidates must be Orton-Gillingham Certified and have experience working in a school-based setting. Please do not apply without Orton-Gillingham Certification.
