Northfield Mount Hermon, an independent co-educational boarding school in western Massachusetts, seeks a dynamic individual to teach Algebra 2 in a challenging secondary level mathematics program.  This position is for the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

The successful applicant will have at least a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field (master’s preferred) with a background sufficient to teach Algebra 2 through PreCalculus. Experience teaching mathematics (4-5 years), and a knowledge of and experience with curricular design and development is preferred. Additional qualifications include strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and experience using technology in the classroom, including graphing calculators, computer-based math applications and Google Apps for Education. 

Candidates must have an interest in making a positive impact on the lives of adolescents. They will demonstrate experience in equity and inclusion work that promotes a diverse community environment and a clear understanding of anti-bias education.
