| ABOUT THE POSITION
Gann Academy seeks candidates for a part-time or full-time, in-person position for the 2026-2027 school year, teaching one or more of the following courses: Intermediate Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and/or Statistics. All of these classes are taught at the standard level. Successful candidates will have experience in reaching a variety of learners. They will have a passion for math, a strong background in classroom teaching, and skills in curriculum design and pedagogy. They are also committed to collaborating, reflecting, and growing in their teaching practice. In the classroom, they value a partner- or team-based approach to student work and understand how to differentiate instruction for learners with broader needs and those eager to explore material beyond the required content. Qualities such as creativity, curiosity, perseverance, and flexibility are highly desirable. We expect qualifying candidates to be effective communicators to colleagues, students, and parents. They should excel in time and energy management and be adept at learning new technology platforms, including the Microsoft Office265 suite. This is an in-person, part-time or full-time position starting with professional development on August 10th, 2026, and classes beginning the last week of August. This position reports to the Assistant Director of STEM. The salary range is between $60,000-$90,000 annually, commensurate with the number of classes taught, relevant work experience, and qualifications. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Teaching Duties:

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in mathematics is required; a master’s degree is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A commitment to student-centered, mastery-based teaching
- Must be proficient in English to carry out work as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands include dexterity for office machine/supply operation, including but not limited to computer, telephone, electronic calculator, copy machine, and printers. Stooping, bending, reaching for files or supplies, and sitting or standing for extended periods are common.
