Concord Academy, an independent, co-educational boarding and day school renowned for its world-class faculty, passionate students, and graduates who make their mark on the world, seeks to fill a half-time leave replacement in its History Department for the 2024 fall semester.

The school seeks to appoint an experienced teacher in support of a strong and well-established history program. The leave coverage is expected to run from the end of August to mid-December 2024, and consists of two sections of an upper-level course (grades 11 & 12) in the history of modern psychology (or a related topic).  The sections meet in the following time frame:

Mondays: 8:50-10:15

Tuesdays: 12:40-3:15

Thursdays: 12:40-3:15

Concord Academy’s history department exposes students to the diversity of the human experience across six continents and from the ancient world to the present, and fosters strong skills in reading, writing, research, and analysis.
