Notre Dame Academy – Hingham, an all-female college prep high school educating young women in grades 7-12, is seeking a Health & Wellness Coordinator with high energy, a creative spirit, and a passion for empowering young women. Notre Dame Academy is a vibrant, Catholic learning community, sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The Academy guides young women in their personal faith formation, challenges students to pursue academic excellence, and encourages social responsibility on behalf of global justice.

This position reports to the Director of Athletics

Components of Responsibilities
• Teach Grades 7,8 & 9 wellness/Phys Ed classes based on MA frameworks for Health & Wellness instruction.
• Research & schedule programming, speakers, and off-campus opportunities to support wellness curriculum for grades 7,8 & 9.
• Coordinate and supervise the Donna Brickley Wellness Center including regularly scheduled access for students, faculty & staff.
• Develop and manage a robust middle school intramural program for grades 7 & 8.
• Assist the Director of the Cuvilly Division to support events and activities related to middle school student programming.
• Other responsibilities within the Athletics Department at the direction of the Athletic Director and Principal.

Job Requirements
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or Health & Wellness
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a key role in an athletics program
• Demonstrated success in an all-girls educational or athletic setting or related experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience teaching Health and Wellness Curriculum
