Early Learning Center Assistant Director

Epiphany Early Learning (ELC) is currently seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant Director. This year-round position ensures compliance with the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and the center’s requirements. The Assistant Director, a member of the Administrative Team, must be director certified. They will work closely with the ELC’s Administrative team to assist with all aspects of the ELC’s day-to-day operations, with a particular focus on maintaining EEC compliance. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a school setting and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They are highly self-motivated and professional and can manage their workload and prioritize tasks. They are proactive, detail and deadline oriented. They work well independently, as well as part of a team. They thrive on developing strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization. Major Job Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the Director and Administrative team to ensure compliance with all licensing and program requirements.
- Assist with day-to-day programming, curriculum implementation, and staff needs.
Qualifications:
- Director Certified
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to create positive, supportive relationships with people from different languages, cultures, and backgrounds.
- Ability to shift effortlessly between details, deadlines, and daily interactions.
- Good judgment, discretion, and the ability to work efficiently with organizational stakeholders.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
- Preferred: Experience working in a school community, early childhood, and with three years of work experience.
Compensation and benefits:
- Commensurate with qualifications and experience $60,000-$65,000 range.
