Overview
We currently have a fabulous part-time opportunity for an After-School Program Lead Teacher. We are seeking an energetic, caring, warm person to lead a small class of elementary aged students on weekday afternoons from 2:30-5:30. Additional opportunities for classroom support, and/or substitute teaching during school hours are also available. This position also offers robust opportunities for growth, as part-time positions very often turn into full-time offers!

Responsibilities Include:
– Develop and implement activities that integrate art, nature, outdoor play, collaboration, homework help, creativity, and fun!
– Manage all activities to ensure a safe and secure environment
– Support students with diverse learning and/or physical needs
– HAVE FUN!!

Preferred Skills:
– Proficient in classroom management techniques
– Experience working with school-aged students
– Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans and/or activities
– Knowledge of diverse teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles
