An independent school for girls in grades 6-12, guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, Montrose School was founded in 1979 and is located in the welcoming community of Medfield, 17 miles southwest of Boston. Montrose School attracts a talented and growing student population from 50 towns and communities.

Montrose School seeks an experienced Theology & Philosophy teacher to join our professional learning community beginning August 2024. A successful candidate will be knowledgeable about Scripture, Catholic doctrine, and Catholic Social Teachings as well as the broader Catholic intellectual tradition. We seek teachers who have strong academic training as well as a pastoral disposition to attend to the holistic needs of teen girls. In addition, we are looking for teachers passionate about collaborating, reflecting and growing in their teaching practice in a community of scholar-practitioners. 

Strong applicants will have an advanced degree and at least three years of classroom experience. Montrose develops young women leaders through its immersive character and leadership program as we help students train their minds through the study of core religious and philosophical texts and orient their hearts to service and leadership to engage the world.
