What is a team lead?

Schechter Boston has a unique organizational structure designed to distribute responsibility for decision making across the school. Three years ago we created a number of  “Team Lead” roles. Team leads split their time between classroom teaching and school leadership. Their leadership may include supervising teachers, designing curriculum, and working closely with senior school leaders to chart and advance the strategic priorities of the school. Team lead roles provide talented teachers with a pathway for career advancement and contribute to Schechter’s innovative and collaborative culture.
