John Bapst has an opening for a social sciences teacher for the 2024-25 school year, with a preference for someone who can teach world history, American history, and other electives in the department. The successful candidate will be experienced and have a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in history or a related field in the social sciences. The school seeks teachers whose academic strength is matched by a love of teaching and demonstrated range and flexibility to reach diverse students, including those whose first language in not English. This teaching position may be combined with a houseparent position in the school’s international boarding program, with housing and other benefits provided.
