An independent school for girls in grades 6-12, inspired by the teachings of the Catholic Church, Montrose School was founded in 1979 and is located in the welcoming community of Medfield, 17 miles southwest of Boston. Montrose School attracts a talented and growing student population from 50 towns and communities.

Montrose School seeks to appoint an innovative, experienced middle or upper school Math teacher to join our strong and collegial Mathematics Department starting in August 2024. The successful candidate will be an accomplished teacher of math including pre-algebra, algebra, precalculus and geometry is a plus. Montrose seeks an innovative educator who brings a passion and enthusiasm for helping adolescents acquire and achieve a high level of proficiency in the subject. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic department that values skill development, a hands-on approach to teaching, and positive student-teacher relationships. Strong applicants should have significant coursework in a relevant subject, a master’s degree is preferred, but not required, an interest in curriculum development, an appreciation for all-girls’ education, and at least three years of classroom experience is preferred. Our teachers are mentors to individual students and club leaders, with some engaged in coaching.
