The Providence Country Day School is seeking a full-time (academic year) Lower and Middle School Support Staff.   • Create an environment of respect and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues

Expectations for this position include:

  • Providing support for teachers and students, assisting with student discipline, and addressing student behavior interventions.
  • Taking on various roles within the middle and lower school to support student experience.
  • Offer SEL support through in class interventions, small group instruction, and one on one sessions. 
  • Assist in developing personal social-emotional learning plans to support student success. 
  • Serve various needs of the school such as, but not limited to, substitute teaching, in class support, observation, planning and discussions.
  • Serving as an in class, small group or individual support for students and teachers.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • A passion for teaching children
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
