Meeting Street is currently looking for a General Education Teacher – 2nd Grade for 40 hour per week.

Duties:

• Assists in the development, implementation, and revision of a standards-based curriculum that promotes active learning by providing a variety of developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Develops lesson plans, progress reports, and provides input for IEPs within specified timelines as directed.
• Collaborates with other educators and specialists in the planning, adapting and teaching of the curriculum for all learners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in General Education and Special Education.
• RIDE Certification in general education and special education.
• A minimum of one year teaching experience, with prior experience working with children with and without disabilities in an inclusive environment preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
