The Financial Manager is a key member of Bay Farm Montessori Academy’s administrative team. This role involves monitoring the school’s financial and operational health, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

We are seeking an accountant with a minimum of two years experience in public or private accounting. The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and demonstrate proficiency in financial management and reporting.


Salary:  $80,000 + benefits

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Minimum two years experience in public or private accounting

Proficiency in financial management and reporting

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to take on additional administrative duties


Financial Management:

Oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting

Provide guidance on financial planning and budgeting


Manage general ledger and accounts receivable/payable

Administer payroll and benefits

Coordinate annual filings and audits

Stakeholder Engagement:

Communicate regularly with the Head of School and Finance Committee

Provide financial reports to stakeholders
