Day Camp Activity Specialist

Want to enjoy the summer at camp with over 100 other counselors ready to have fun? Running Brook Camps is seeking professionals to round out our camper activity choices: Yoga, Martial Arts, Archery and Dance!

At Running Brook, we believe that camp is special because of the people who are there. Camp is a place where youth come to play and grow in a group – as a member of our staff, you will play an integral role in this incredible experience. Along the way, we hope you will learn about yourself and gain valuable experience to use throughout your life.

What You Will Do:

• Be available for the camp season – June 24th through August 16th ● Participate in pre-camp training ● Implement lesson plans with the support of a supervisor ● Communicate effectively with leadership team, counselors, and campers ● Demonstrate flexibility to perform other duties as requested ● Practice self-care in order to put your best foot forward ● Be safe and have fun with the whole Running Brook community!

What You Need:

• Relevant education and experience ● Ability to stand for 8 hours

Salary: $18.50 – $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• College or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Large Group Childcare: 3 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
