Xaverian is an independent Catholic school for boys in grades 7-12, sponsored by the Xaverian
Brothers. Located in Westwood, Massachusetts, this college-prep school welcomes students
from approximately 90 communities across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Xaverian was
established in 1963 and presently enrolls over 960 students.
General Expectations: Xaverian is seeking applications for a full-time, year-round Assistant
Director of Admissions who will represent the school at a variety of on-campus and off-campus
events, build relationships with prospective families and staff from area schools, and assist in
the annual recruitment and enrollment of new students.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
● Represent Xaverian at school fairs, classroom visits, and other off-campus events
● Coordinate the “Hawk for a Day” shadow visit program
● Coordinate the on-campus tour program
● Manage student ambassadors
● Coordinate entrance exams
● Serve as a member of the admissions reading committee
● Conduct admission interviews
● Assist in the planning of events including open house, information nights, community
receptions, and accepted student night
● Connect with families via phone, email, and Zoom
Qualifications and Skills Required:
● Bachelor’s degree
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
● Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
● Proficiency with technology including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom
● Experience with Ravenna, Blackbaud, and Constant Contact is preferred; however,
training will be provided
● Availability for occasional nights and weekend events
