Arts & Crafts Specialist 

Perfect for any teacher looking for something fun and creative to do during the summer.  Excellent opportunity for prospective art teachers or any creative teacher.

(Do not need to be a teacher, can be a paraprofessional or college student)

Seasonal Position: Camp Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm June 24-August 7; Option to start as early as June 10th (schedule will be part time from June 10-22 and made up with the Camp Director)

Must be Age 18+

Reports To: Campus Director/ Assistant Directors  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for planning, organizing and the execution of Arts & Crafts program for all age groups
• Responsible for teaching and leading Arts and Crafts projects at camp.
• Responsible for training, orientating and overseeing group counselors.
• Responsible for inventorying supplies at the end of the week in order to determine what will be required for the next session.
• Responsible for ordering supplies needed for projects.
• Responsible for preparation and clean‐up of Arts and Craft classes.
• Responsible for making sure that the craft room is kept and left neat and clean
• Responsible for having crafts, supplies, equipment, etc. all set up and ready  to go for groups to arrive.
• Responsible for adherence to all rules, regulations and policies of the camp.
• Responsible for filling in when necessary or as scheduled for other areas.
• Responsible for other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Campers range in age from 3 years old-15 years old
