MetroWest Jewish Day School is proud to be launching a summer program this year called STEMpower, with this year’s theme “City of Tomorrow.”
Each day, students will be given different design challenges to master new tools/skills in the morning and then given a larger block in the afternoon for a design challenge that would have students examine a particular aspect of future urban planning (layout, water source, energy sources, etc). The day will also include some team-building exercises, lunch and recreational break, some down time, and reflection on assignments.
Students can attend one or both weeks. Any students in kindergarten through eighth grade are welcome.
