Proactive vs. Reactive Cybersecurity: Assessing the Best Approach

In this presentation, CJ Hurd will discuss the strategic advantages of adopting a proactive approach in the realm of cybersecurity. While reactive measures focus on addressing threats after they’ve surfaced, a proactive stance emphasizes foresight, planning, and early threat detection, often resulting in reduced system downtimes, cost savings, and stronger defense mechanisms. This presentation highlights compelling evidence, real-world examples, and data-driven insights to demonstrate the undeniable superiority of proactive strategies. Attendees will leave not only convinced of the value of anticipation but also equipped with practical steps to shift their cybersecurity paradigms from reaction to prevention.
