Deepening Equity Impact through Transformative Teaching & Leadership
November 7 & 14 (Thursdays) | 3:30 – 5:00 PM | Virtual
In this workshop, we’ll delve into practical strategies and insights for driving truly meaningful equity initiatives in independent school communities. You’ll learn from case studies and the experiences of other organizations. You’ll gain skills for considering contextual factors and identifying and checking your own biases when creating and sustaining equitable learning environments.

Various Dates in 2024 & 2025, beginning September 24, 2024. Some dates are in-person.
Our DEIB Practitioners Cohort is back for a 2nd year. This yearlong program is aimed at building DEIB leadership in New England schools. Over a series of virtual and in-person meetings you will discuss the current opportunities and challenges of the field, share your professional triumphs and tribulations, and receive leadership coaching aimed at creating enduring system change in your community. This year’s cohort is led by independent school consultant Martha Haakmat.

2024 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Conference

This 2-day in-person event makes intentional time to focus on the work and creates space for you to network with your peers leading initiatives in schools from around the region. You will come away with new ideas for making actionable change within your community and a renewed commitment to creating just and equitable learning environments for every student.
