Summer Program Teacher

The Advent School, located in the Beacon Hill section of Boston, Massachusetts, serves students in pre-Kindergarten through Sixth Grade and is founded in the principles of social justice. Through its Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum, Advent’s faculty deliver authentic, rigorous, and experiential learning opportunities that encourage students to “learn with passion, act with courage, and change the world.”

The Design at Advent Summer Program offers three unique two-week sessions for children ages 5 through 12. Designers begin each session by sorting through recycled materials, learning proper tool use, and engaging in the design process. Each day, the designers and teachers set out to explore the city, play games, and gather inspiration. On the last Friday of each session, the designers share their creations and prototypes with friends and family during a Design Expo. Learn more about the summer program here
