DESCRIPTION

The Newman School invites dynamic professionals to apply for the full-time role of Senior Associate Director of Admissions, a key position contributing to shaping our vibrant learning community. Reporting directly to the Director of Enrollment, the Senior Associate Director will oversee one line of enrollment, Middle School (Grades 7–8) or High School (Grades 9–12 & PG), and play a pivotal part in advancing our enrollment strategy. This position reports to the Director of Enrollment Management.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree preferred 
• 5+ years admissions or enrollment experience in independent schools or higher education 
• Demonstrated success in managing an enrollment pipeline and meeting or exceeding enrollment goals
• Proven ability to manage a need-based financial aid process collaboratively with the Business Office and Director of Enrollment
• Strong understanding of independent and/or boarding school markets 
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with families and students 
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and admissions software platforms (Ravenna, SAO, Blackbaud) 
• Professionalism, discretion, and cultural competence in representing the school community 
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, including evening and weekend events as required

Compensation

• $90,000 – $100,000
