Position Summary
Bancroft seeks a qualified, dedicated, and collaborative School Physician Medical Consultant to provide annual consultative support for our comprehensive school health program.
Essential Responsibilities
- Meet annually (June/July) and as needed, in person or via phone, email, or video conference with the Director of Health Services to provide consultation regarding the comprehensive school health program, which includes reviewing and approving clinical protocols, policies and standing orders.
Qualifications
- License to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (M.G.L. c.71, s.53b).
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics or Family Practice with additional education in Adolescent Medicine preferred.

Compensation
Bancroft School offers a competitive stipend range for this position of $5,000 to $6,000.
