Dana Hall School seeks a part-time rock wall manager/instructor.  This is a part-time position with responsibilities on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30-5:00 p.m. Additional hours to be determined will be required for oversight of rock wall maintenance and oversight of safety procedures.

Responsibilities include: instructing Dana Hall students in grades 5-12, maintaining rock climbing wall and equipment, including resetting the climbing wall; overseeing all procedures in accordance with Massachusetts State law. AMGA Climbing Wall Certification or the equivalent, as well as significant teaching experience are required.

The individual in this position must have a Top Rope Endorsement License/Certificate reflecting having met standards in: equipment and facility inspection, client orientation and instruction, bouldering and spotting, and emergency procedures.  Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

This is a 10-month part-time position during the academic year from late August to early June reporting to the Director of Athletics, Health and Wellness. Salary range is $24-$26/hour.
