Position: Administrative Assistant/Development Associate
JCDSRI is a welcoming and inclusive elementary school, serving children 3 years old through 5th grade. We are looking for an Executive Assistant for our Director of Development (part OR full-time) who will also work closely with our Head of School.
Our ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively with others. This person will also demonstrate strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills, including a meticulous attention to details.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and office support, including document and data-base maintenance
- Maintain and refine internal processes, including the content and flow of information, as well as the coordination of complex scheduling and calendar management
- Overseeing internal and external communication, including agendas, newsletter, grants, emails, phone calls, and other necessary logistics
- Organize team communications and plan events, both internal and off-site
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials
Required skills and qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Preferred skills and qualifications

- Experience in public relations, marketing, and/or education
- Experience with nonprofits
- Experience in overseeing budgets and expenses
