Full Time Physical Education Teacher

The School is currently seeking a full-time physical education teacher to start in the fall of 2023. Strong candidates will have subject expertise in physical education and, ideally, at least three years of experience teaching and coaching at the middle or high school level. The position includes teaching sections of Lower School physical education, coaching two interscholastic sports, and supervising the School’s state-of-the-art fitness facility. The position may also involve organizational responsibilities, depending on the needs of the department or division. Our teachers typically advise a group of middle school students and assume other supervisory duties as assigned. Candidates must have an authentic commitment to motivating girls in fitness and athletic skills-based development both in the classroom and on the athletic fields. Compelling candidates will have an interest in curriculum development across all eight grade levels at Winsor.
