Summary
Nashoba Brooks School seeks a full-time substitute teacher for the 2022-2023 academic year with a strong desire to work as part of a team in a dynamic school committed to excellence in 21st century education. This is a 10-month, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. position with responsibilities including substitute teaching, after school program instruction, and support for student activities such as athletics, performing arts, or clubs for students in Preschool through Grade 8.
Responsibilities
- Instruction of students as a substitute teacher in a variety of subject areas for students in Preschool through Grade 8
- Facilitation of seasonal student activities such as athletics, performing arts, or special interest clubs.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least one year of experience working in elementary/middle school education.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with students in Preschool through Grade 8.
- Demonstrated knowledge about the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of preschool, elementary, and middle school students.
