Hillside School, an all-boys Junior Boarding School serving grades 4-9, is seeking an enthusiastic Music teacher with a strong instructional background and passion for teaching middle school students beginning immediately. The ideal candidate is able to tailor instruction to help students develop interest and excitement for the subject matter and to differentiate instruction based on individual needs to help every student achieve academic success.

This candidate should be prepared to teach middle school music to all levels of learners. This includes four sections of music (Grades 4-6, Grade 7, Grade 8, and Grade 9). Other desired qualifications include being a team player, a sense of humor, and a creative and positive approach to teaching. Qualified candidates should embrace boarding school life. They must be willing to teach a full schedule (16-20 periods per week), coach two seasons of sports, and reside on campus covering scheduled dorm duties on evenings and weekends.
